Trail Info
REMARKS:
The Bullion Connector and Hidden Valley trails are open. The BLM and BCRD recently teamed up to do some work on the Hidden Valley Trail. The work involved the reshaping of the turns in the southwest portion of the loop. Fourteen turns were improved in the southwest area of the loop portion of the trail. Some hand-work on the project may follow, but the trail is in good condition and open for use.
Trailhead Forecast
Description / Access Information
Bull DogBurned in the 2013 Beaver Creek Fire, the trail is presently closed until it can be rebuilt. The reconstruction of the trail system is scheduled to commence on April 20, 2015.

From the Bullion trailhead several easy switchbacks lead to a long traversing climb.  The view of the Pioneer Mountains from the high point frames The Devils Bedstead, Salzburg Spitzl, Goat Peak, Duncan Ridge, Hyndman and Cobb Peaks between the lesser Pk. 7,186 and Pk. 7,130 that stand above Lambs Gulch.  The descent to Two Dog (east side) drops through several tight and technical switchbacks.
