STANDALONE TRAIL MAP
GENERAL COMMENTS: April 12, 2024
The full Quigley Loop, along with BCRD's Quigley Trails Park Jump Lines and pump track, and BLM's Belle & Vue trails on both sides of Slaughterhouse are clear and ready for you!
The south valley is starting to see trails dry out. While many south & southwest facing aspects are mostly clear in Hailey and Bellevue, snow is still hanging onto the trails on many north & northeast facing aspects. BLM's Croy Trails still need time to dry out before they are ready to see any bike or foot traffic. Mid and north valley trails will take time before the are clear and dry.
As trails start to dry out, please keep in mind we have spring conditions and what might appear to be a dry trail can end up being snowy or muddy in sections. Please DO NOT go through or around wet/muddy sections to get to the dry trail on the other side. If you run into mud, show the trails some respect and turn around. Be patient and give the trails the time they need to dry out without causing lasting damage.
Keep in mind in the winter and spring, some trails pass through avalanche terrain. For a complete avalanche report from Sawtooth Avalanche Center please go to www.sawtoothavalanche.com.

Wildlife is present. For information on recommended best practices when wildlife are encountered, visit this site's Trail Alerts Section.

As always, let's not forget our manners and trail etiquette no matter where we are or how we recreate. A quick reminder- bikers yield to hikers, and hikers and bikers yield to horses, then downhill yields to uphill. If in doubt, just yield to each other and meet someone new while you talk about how lucky we are to be in such an amazing place. Bottom line is to be kind to each other and enjoy being out on the trails.

Continue to look to this site for up to date trail info. Please be aware of changing conditions and considerate of trail conditions when you head out for your adventures.

If you have questions, comments, or concerns about the trails please email BCRD Trail Coordinator Ashley Knox (aknox@bcrd.org), or phone 208/578-2273. For area land management agency contact info, go to the Trail Alerts section of this site
Look to the BCRD Winter Trails site for wintertime recreational particulars. During the winter, in a number of areas of the valley, over snow travel is widely available on public lands, but travel restrictions may be in place to help protect wildlife and for other management purposes. For information contact the agency responsible for the public lands you plan to visit. Contact info is available in the trail alerts section of this site.
