Trail Info
Deer Creek Road is closed above Wolftone. Heavy Equipment will be working on the Deer Creek Road through mid-May. All of the trails out Deer Creek are closed at this time due to the Beaver Creek Fire and subsequent weather events. With the work that is going on in this fire damaged area people are encouraged to use extra caution if they are in the Deer Creek drainage.

Description / Access Information
Wolftone Creek Rd. (#102): An old mining road that is usually combined with Wolftone-Curran (#160) & Deer Creek (#158) to make a clockwise loop.  Not the most pristine option for hikers. It is, however, a relatively short 2.5-mile hike from theend of Wolftone Road (102) to pt. 7922 where a short scramble leads topanoramic views of the Pioneer Mountains.
