Fox Peak Connector Trail #938: This section of trail was reconstructed after the Castle Rock Fire (2007). It makes a connection between the East Fork Baker Creek Road and the Adams Rib Trail #142. From East Fork Baker Creek Road the trail climbs through the burn and around the more easterly flank of Fox Peak. All in all, there is about 500 feet of climbing from the road to the intersection with Adams Rib Trail. Fun to descend on.
You are pretty high up when you are on Fox Peak, and the wind can whip right along up there. In places, when the conditions are just so, the burned trees along this trail whistle in the wind.
This trail has a seasonal designation for motorcycle and e-bike use and is open to those uses from May 1 through August 29 of each year.
