Norton Creek - Prairie Creek Trail #134:
Areas of the trail are closed to motorized use and other sections are open to motorized use. On the Ketchum Ranger District side, the section between the end of the FS Road 170 and the trail's intersection with the Baker Creek-Norton Creek Trail #138 has a seasonal designation for motorcycle and e-bike use and is open to those uses from May 1 to Nov. 30 of each year. On the SNRA side the #134 Trail is open to motorcycle and e-bike use from the end of Prairie Creek Road to near Prairie Lakes and the trail's intersection with the Miner Creek Prairie Trail #132. This section of the trail is open to motorcycles and e-bikes from May 1 to Nov. 30 of each year.
Depending on your approach, you will be accessing this trail either on lands managed by the Ketchum Ranger District of the Sawtooth National Forest, or lands administered by the Sawtooth National Recreation Area. From the Sawtooth NRA side the trail leads to Prairie Lake. From there you can take Miner Creek-Prairie Trail #132 over to Miner Lake.
