Description / Access Information
Norton-Miner Canyon Trail #135: The trail signs at the start of trails near the Norton Trailhead have gone missing. Heading up, and at the start, take the trail to the right/north if you want to get to Norton Lakes.

The trail is a more difficult to advanced route that is approximately 5.5 miles long. The portion that is in the Ketchum Ranger District is about 3 miles long.

It is a good day trip for first-time hikers. For the more experienced, Miner Lake is a steep climb away on the north side of Norton Saddle. Arrange a shuttle and continue the four miles from Miner Lake to Prairie Creek Trailhead.

Directions: Drive north of Ketchum on Highway 75 for 15.5 miles. Turn left (west) onto Baker Creek Road #162. At 6 miles, turn right (north) onto Norton Creek Road #170. Follow this road 1.3 miles to the trailhead.
