Blaine County Recreation District - SummerTraiLink
Welcome to BCRD's new SummerTraiLink website. We've got some great new tools to help you find your way this summer!
On our home page, scroll around the map by dragging the map itself, or by using the tabs at the top to zoom in on popular areas. The dropdown menus under "REFINE YOUR MAP" will redraw the map to show only the trails that fit your criteria. The "MAP LEGEND" shows what different trail colors and icons mean; hover over or tap any icon on the map to get more details about that icon and why it has been placed there.
Hover over or click on any trail and a new panel will appear showing details of that trail's uses, status and conditions at that location. You can scroll down the panel to see a trail elevation (hover over elevation profile to see corresponding point on the trail) and links to that trail's details page.
Use the Expand/Full Screen button to make the map full screen.
All three panels can be minimized out of your way to see more of the map, use minimize button in the panel's title bar.
Scroll down to the Trails Report to see updated conditions for the general regions around our valley, and specific conditions for specific trails, including warnings and stopping locations for trails that may not be completely open.
Click the trail name in the Trails Report (or the link at the bottom of the trail info box, or just click the track itself on the map) to be taken to that trail's details page with much more information including elevations, weather, other conditions, and KML and GPX files you can use in Google Earth or on your phone/GPS.
