Description / Access Information
Saddle Trail #326Saddle Trail is accessed at the Oregon Gulch Trailhead, which is approximately 8 miles north of Ketchum on the west side of Highway 75, just north of the North Fork Trailer Park. Here, follow the unsigned access road a short distance into the trailhead area. Please go slowly on the road, as kids often play in the area.

This 2.1 mile long trail connects the Oregon Gulch Trailhead to the Chocolate Gulch Trail. Saddle Trail is a nice path on its own merits, but it is especially useful as part of the larger Oregon Gulch Loop. (loop remains temporarily closed at this time due to snow/wet conditions). The OR Gulch Loop utilizes Oregon Gulch Trail, Oregon - Fox Connector Trail, Chocolate Gulch Trail, and Saddle Trail to make an approximately 11.5 mile loop.
