Trail Info
REMARKS:
Trails are still snow covered. As trails begin to melt out, please be patient and give trails time to dry out before heading out. If you encounter extended wet and muddy conditions, turn back and choose a different trail. West Fork Warm Springs Road will remain closed due to roadway instability. Eve's Gulch #146 Trail will only be used as an out-and-back at this time (no connection available to Warm Springs Road from Eve Gulch Trail).
Trailhead Forecast
Description / Access Information
Upper Old Adams Gulch Road Trail #177: Does not see much maintenance and we do not have any reports about downed trees or trail conditions as of June 28, 2019.

Above its intersection with the Griffin Butte Connector Trail #839 the rough old #177 Trail has not seen formal maintenance in several years, but it was cut out in 2018 and people riding bikes on it reported that it was in much better condition than expected.

A very rough and demanding trail that many people find more suitable as a place for an exploratory hike, versus as part of a mountain bike ride. Cyclists who don't mind very steep grades and areas of loose rock will not be put-off by the technical and demanding character of the trail, but many less skilled and less strong riders will be fine to give it a pass.
