Description / Access Information
Cherry Connector Trail:
This little trail forms a link that allows connections between the Senate Meadows and Pioneer Cemetery loop trails. it utilizes three berms (banked-turns) as it meanders through the trees.

This beginner trail forms a key section of both the Pioneer Cemetery Loop and the Senate Meadows loops. Actually, each loop shares this trail. It's a more southerly section of the Senate Meadows loop, and a northerly portion of the Pioneer Cemetery Loop Trail.  Enjoy it in either direction, or skip it and combine the Senate and Pioneer Cemetery loops into one larger loop outing.

The Galena Summer Trails project is complete, adding close to 50 miles of beginner, intermediate and advanced trails to the offerings at the lodge. The network is configured in a stacked-loop system around Galena Lodge. These non-motorized trails are open to hiking, mountain biking, trail running and equestrian use and celebrate the unique history, ecology and recreational value of the amazing Galena area.

To get to the lodge follow Hwy 75 north for about 24 miles. The lodge will be on your right as you are headed up. If you are coming from Stanley, or other points north, crest Galena Summit and continue down to the lodge. It will be on the left, about 6 miles below the summit.
